Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering

This course explores sustainable society and living spaces through the study of architecture and civil engineering. The course consists of two fields: “Environmental Structural Engineering” and “Urban Architectural Design”. In the field of Environmental and Structural Engineering, education and research is conducted into the control of natural energy and the behavior of structural systems in order to realize safe and secure buildings and civil engineering structures. In the field of urban architectural design, education and research is conducted from the perspectives of social science, mathematical science, and humanities, focusing on psychology, physiology, human behavior, and social life in architecture and urban space.
