Innovation and Management

Course introduction

[Education policy in Innovation and Management]

The program provides research guidance that leads to policy proposals by objectifying (quantifying) corporate management and social issues. Students will learn the basics of statistics and develop the ability to conduct social analysis using various statistical software upon completing the Master’s course. Since social economy and management derive from human behavior, the research will focus on one of the following areas: “industrial engineering” which improves corporate productivity, “educational technology” which establishes evaluation methods and measure the effects of education, “experimental economics” which elucidates social phenomena using empirical methods, and “behavioral science” which scientifically studies human consumption behavior and the laws of human behavior. As society becomes increasingly globalized, it is necessary to have a perspective that is not limited to the domestic market. For this reason, we encourage students in this course to study abroad for a short or medium to long term.
